Terms and Conditions for Commissions

1. GENERAL TERMS

• Working days: Monday to Friday, 10:30 am – 6:30 pm (CDMX).
  
  

• All personal-use illustrations include a subtle signature that cannot be removed.
  
  

• By making the first payment, you automatically accept these Terms and Conditions.
  
  

• I reserve the right to decline any request I feel uncomfortable with or that goes beyond my skills.
  
  

• I do not create: NFTs, NSFW, mecha, violence, political work, or realism.
  
  

• Prices are subject to change, and each project is quoted individually.
  
  

• To process your order, you will receive a Google Form that must be filled out.
  
  

• I reserve the right to accept or reject any commission.
  
  

2. PAYMENTS

• Payments in MXN: PayPal or bank transfer.
  
  

• Payments in USD: only via PayPal.
  
  

• You may pay 100% upfront or 50% upfront and 50% before the final delivery.
  
  

• Do not send payments before confirming that I have available slots for your commission.
  
  

3. PROCESS & DELIVERY

• Delivery time ranges from 2 weeks to 1.5 months, depending on complexity, revisions, and workload.
  
  

• Large projects (such as books, mascot design, etc.) may take up to 3 months.
  
  

• If any delay occurs regarding the estimated timeline, I will notify you.
  
  

• Once the artwork is finished and the full payment is received, you will receive a high-resolution digital file.
  
  

• No physical product is delivered unless previously agreed upon.
  
  

• If you need the artwork by a specific date, please inform me in advance.
  
  

4. REVISIONS

(Not applicable if you chose a product without revisions)

• Includes 2 major revisions during the sketch phase and 1 minor revision during the clean line phase.
  
  

• Additional changes will have an extra fee, charged hourly.
  
  

• No structural changes (pose, body, perspective, etc.) are allowed once the sketch has been approved and coloring has begun.
  
  

• Changes to the final illustration count as a new commission.
  
  

5. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICY

Artist’s rights (Elisa Glez):

• I retain the moral and commercial rights to all illustrations (unless commercial rights are purchased separately).
  
  

• I may:
  
  

  • Use the illustration for promotion on social media and portfolio.
    
    

  • Publish it at any time.
    
    

  • Reuse it for merchandise (prints, stickers, etc.) when it is fanart, public figures, or my own original creations.
    
    

Client’s rights:

• Personal use: posting on social media, printing for yourself, using as wallpaper, etc.
  
  

• In the case of personal portraits (family, pets, self-portraits), these will not be used for merchandise, only portfolio or social media, unless agreed otherwise.
  
  

• Original characters remain your property, but the artwork itself belongs to the artist.
  
  

• The artwork may be used in YouTube or monetized videos as long as it is not the main source of revenue.
  
  

The following is strictly prohibited:

• Commercial use of the artwork without a license.
  
  

• Claiming authorship of the artwork.
  
  

• Removing the signature.
  
  

• Altering the artwork without permission.
  
  

• Using the artwork for AI.
  
  

• Selling the artwork as NFT.
  
  

6. CLIENT SATISFACTION

• My goal is to provide a service you are happy with.
  
  

• If any issue arises with your commission, I will work with you to find a solution.
  
  

• Adjustments to the terms may be discussed before starting the project (e.g., exclusive use without posting online).
  
  

• Refunds are not applicable if the client dislikes the final result, as revision stages are always offered beforehand.
  
  

Discount Code:
If you mention the code COMMISSION2025V1 before making the first payment, you will receive a 10% discount.
(This code changes periodically and must be mentioned before payment. It cannot be applied afterwards.)

7. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

• No full refunds once the work has begun.
  
  

• If the client paid 100% upfront and I have not started, an 80% refund will be issued.
  
  

• If I am unable to start your commission, you will receive a full refund.
  
  

• Do not open a PayPal dispute: refunds are handled directly with me.
  
  

• If a refund is requested when not applicable, the client will lose all rights to the artwork and will not be able to commission me again.
  
  

• If the client does not send full/partial payment within one week, either party may cancel the commission.
  
  

• If the client breaches the agreement, they lose all rights to the commissioned piece, and I, Elisa Glez (the artist), retain the right to use and profit from the artwork in any way I see fit.
